I believe so. I feel that GW attempts to reconcile PvE aspects and PvP aspects as much as it can.

in my post I meant items found in pve that can be used in pvp too.. I donno if they'll make pve only super items that can ONLY be used in pve, didn't know if the OP meant that.. and I think JR hosts recordings of WoC but I 'onno, so gl finding it.. [Weapon of Choice = WoC, http://radioitg.com ]

You're unable to run a PvE character in PvP now? I'd also like to point out the majority (if not all) characters used by the gvg players going to germany are PvE characters.

PvE characters currently > PvP characters because of obvious armor/weapon reasons. >.>

Sorry, game balance is determined solely by PvP, not by PvE.

Not sure how many people actually care about fame, but there are also titles now. Most of the titles are pve orientated.

Sigils do not matter, for the most part, unless you are being stubborn about not buying one from a npc. Even then, it just opens up the guild hall. The guildhall's primary purpose is to open up the gvg pvp aspect, which is something that should also not matter to a pve only player. The only optional purpose it serves, is having a place to be a meeting point after you go through the process of unlocking the npc services, which could be avoided entirely as well.

As for the championship trips, you actually have to umm pvp to qualify for it. I do not see how that can be a point of contention for strictly pve players.

Unless you are attempting to make a point to all pve only players to start participating in pvp, i really do not see the relevance here.

This thread is now just people either whinning that they should get ridiculous weapons to reward their "uber skillz", or debating about PvE characters vs. PvP characters.

Personally, on the subject of the actual thread, no I do not think they should make "godly" weaponry. What is the point? I do fine with my current stuff, so unless you're doing something very wrong, you shoud be fine.

To think that pve is already predictable and easy and you want uber weapon to make it even easier. Then it becomes obvious pvp >>>> pve in terms of skilled players.

ya know what is sooooo dang funny is that people talk about PvE being extremely easy, then we get something hard like the Captain Rujiyo Missions and people whine until they die.

No, I just want a PvE game that I can't just win by simple bodyblocking of enemies or bringing a minion master.

People whine about anything that they can't beat the first time they try it.

Im not talking about skill balance -.-

Im talking about balance between the two aspects of the gameplay.

Pvp has something, Pve has something, both offer something different and together is the only way to truly experience guild wars completely.
